Christy Ball is an Associate Professor of Practice in the Department of Psychology at the University of Arizona. She serves as the Director of Undergraduate Career Development, focusing on integrating career competencies into psychology curricula to enhance student success. Her work emphasizes applied learning, mentorship, and fostering inclusive educational environments.
Education:
- M.Ed. in Counseling, Northern Arizona University (2008)
- B.A. in Psychology, University of Arizona (2002)
Her research explores how backward design and high-impact practices can embed career readiness into undergraduate education. Recent publications highlight scalable methods like reflective assessments and real-world assignments to bridge the preparedness gap between academia and the workforce.
