Associate Professor Christos Venetis is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Fertility Specialist affiliated with the Centre for Big Data Research in Health and the School of Women’s & Children’s Health, UNSW Medicine & Health. He is an NHMRC Early Career Fellow and a leading expert in reproductive medicine and epidemiology, focusing on ovarian stimulation, reproductive endocrinology, and endometrial receptivity.
- Education: Medical Doctor (A.U.TH, 2003), MSc in Medical Research Methodology (A.U.TH, 2006), PhD in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (A.U.TH, 2014), MSc in Healthcare Management (Hellenic Open University, 2013)
His research integrates clinical practice, epidemiology, and big data to improve IVF outcomes, including projects on cancer risks post-assisted reproduction and time-lapse technologies in embryology. He leads multicenter clinical trials and is a top 2% most-cited researcher globally in Obstetrics and Reproductive Medicine (2019).
