Christos Simos

Christos Simos is a Lecturer at the Department of Electronics, Technological Educational Institution of Lamia (Greece), and a research collaborator with the Photonics Technology Laboratory at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. His academic journey includes a Physics degree from the University of Athens and a PhD in Photonics from the University of Limoges, France.

His research focuses on quantum dot lasers, nonlinear optical phenomena, novel materials, and optoelectronic systems for metrology and medical diagnostics. He has co-authored over 50 publications in journals and conference proceedings.

Christos has held postdoctoral and industrial research roles, including at the Laboratoire des Proprietes Optiques de Materiaux & Applications (France) and Forth Photonics S.A. (Greece). He is currently affiliated with two institutions: the Technological Educational Institution of Lamia and the Photonics Technology Laboratory at the University of Athens.
