Christopher S. Josey

Christopher S. Josey is an Associate Teaching Professor and Director of the Honors Program and Undergraduate Research at the Department of Communication, University of Missouri. His work bridges new technology, media effects, and stereotyping, focusing on how persons of color are portrayed in news media and the psychological impacts of such representations.

His work emphasizes critical media literacy in courses such as Media Communication in Society (COMM 2100) and Race and the Media (COMM 4701).
