Christopher Riesbeck is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Northwestern University's McCormick School of Engineering, with a courtesy appointment in Learning Sciences. He also serves as Director of the MS in Computer Science Program and Co-Director of the Center for Computer Science and Learning Sciences. His research focuses on artificial intelligence, natural language understanding, case-based reasoning, and educational technology. Riesbeck holds a PhD from Stanford University (1974) and has authored influential textbooks like Artificial Intelligence Programming and Inside Case-Based Reasoning.
