Christopher McGrath is an Associate Professor and Vice-President, Student Success at George Brown College in Toronto. With over 20 years of leadership experience in Canadian and US post-secondary institutions, his work focuses on access, anti-oppression, and equity in higher education through a post-structural lens informed by critical theory and social justice.

His research interrogates higher education quality through critical theory, focusing on leadership as social performance, power enactment in organizations, and intersections of personal/professional ethics. Recent publications analyze equity in teacher education admissions, student leadership development, and organizational improvement plans.
McGrath contributes to policy advisory groups for MyCreds, Colleges & Institutes Canada, and mental health initiatives, while previously serving on committees with the Ontario Ministry of Colleges and Universities and the Centre for Innovation in Campus Mental Health.
