Chris Sass, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Kentucky's Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment. He holds an appointment in the Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences program, advising students and serving on its Steering Committee. His research focuses on urban forestry and urban stormwater systems, contributing to the University of Kentucky’s Urban Forest Initiative. He helped develop the Urban and Community Forestry Undergraduate Certificate and collaborates with non-profits like Trees Louisville.
