Christopher GoGwilt is Professor of English and Comparative Literature at Fordham University. His research spans Victorian and modernist literature, postcolonial studies, critical theory, and ecocriticism. He holds a BA from Swarthmore College and PhD from Princeton University.
Teaching includes:
- Comparative Studies in Empire
- Twentieth-Century Studies
- Ethics and Intelligence
- Modernist/Victorian intersections
His monograph 'The K-Effect' examines romanization processes in global print culture. Professor GoGwilt has organized international conferences including the 2017 Conrad Conference at Fordham.
