Christopher G. Peterson

Christopher G. Peterson is an Associate Dean of Academics and Professor in the School of Environmental Sustainability at Loyola University Chicago. He holds a PhD in Aquatic Biology from the University of Louisville (1989) and has been a faculty member at Loyola since 1991. His research focuses on algal community dynamics, disturbance ecology, and stream ecosystem processes. He has authored over 40 peer-reviewed articles and served in leadership roles, including Chair of Environmental Science and Director of academic programs.
