Christopher Fynsk is a Professor of Philosophy and the Maurice Blanchot Chair at The European Graduate School (EGS), where he serves as Dean of the PACT Division and Chief Academic Officer. With a career spanning institutions in North America, France, and the UK (including SUNY Binghamton and University of Aberdeen), his work intersects modern Continental philosophy, literary theory, and critical thought. He earned a doctorate in Romance Studies from Johns Hopkins University and advanced degrees from the University of Strasbourg and UC Irvine.
