Christopher Finaret

Christopher Finaret is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Allegheny College. He holds an MSc from the London School of Economics and a BA from UC San Diego, and is a retired Foreign Service Officer. His academic focus includes Development Economics and Policy/Program Evaluation, with cross-disciplinary ties to Business and International Studies programs.

Research Interests:

• Development Economics: Examining economic growth, poverty reduction, and resource allocation in developing regions.
• Policy, Strategy, and Programming Evaluation: Assessing effectiveness of governmental and organizational initiatives through quantitative and qualitative methods.
