Christopher Doropoulos

Christopher Doropoulos is a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the Marine Spatial Ecology Laboratory, University of Queensland (UQ), under the supervision of Peter J. Mumby. He completed his PhD in 2013 at UQ, focusing on coral recruitment dynamics and the impacts of ocean acidification on coral reef ecosystems. His current research investigates how biological and physical interactions influence coral recruitment patterns in collaboration with the Palau International Coral Reef Centre.

His work bridges ecological processes at multiple scales, from individual coral-algal interactions to large-scale reef ecosystem dynamics.
