Christopher Dahlvig is an Associate Professor at Linfield University, where he joined the faculty in 2018. He teaches courses in accounting including Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting II, Cost Accounting, and Government and Not For Profit Accounting.
Dr. Dahlvig brings extensive practical experience to his academic role, having spent 20 years working in the not-for-profit sector across various industries including higher education, outdoor ministry, healthcare, e-waste recycling, and philanthropy.

- Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.)
His academic interests focus on accounting practices, particularly in the non-profit sector. His professional experience includes serving as controller for Inland Northwest Community Foundation, where he accounted for more than $100 million in assets generating nearly $7 million in annual grants for the region. He has implemented significant process improvements throughout his career, including developing a payables process that reduced staff time by more than 98%.

Beyond his professional life, Dr. Dahlvig enjoys following the Green Bay Packers, listening to '80s techno-pop, running 5ks with his wife, and reading books while drinking good coffee.
