Christopher Costa is an Adjunct Associate Professor at Georgetown University's Center for Security Studies (CSS). He previously served as Special Assistant to the U.S. President and Senior Director for Counterterrorism at the National Security Council (NSC), overseeing counterterrorism policy and hostage recovery operations. With 34 years of military and national security experience, he held roles at U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Naval Special Warfare Development Group (with Navy SEALs), and taught strategic studies at Norwich University.
