Christopher Connaboy, PhD, is an Associate Professor and Director of CLEAR at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, Rosalind Franklin University. His expertise centers on human performance optimization through movement science, coordination dynamics, and perceptuo-motor processes in skilled actions, with applications in military and space exploration contexts.
His research spans:
- Human Performance Optimization in extreme environments
- Warfighter injury risk monitoring via wearable sensor data fusion
- Effects of exercise regimens with guided imagery on behavioral health
- Psychological resilience metrics during operational stress
- Training optimization for combat roles including gender-specific adaptations
- Interrelationships between physical health and cognitive performance in isolated conditions
Dr. Connaboy currently leads significant research initiatives including a USAF/AFWERX STTR Phase II study (CRATUS 2) for tactical sensor analytics and a NASA-funded study (80JSC017N0001-HHCHFBP) in the Human Exploration Research Analog. Previously, he served as Co-PI on UK Ministry of Defense research (WGCC 5.5.6: Task 0107) and as Co-investigator on Congressionally Directed Medical Research and NIH-funded studies, with approximately 90 peer-reviewed publications.
No scientific awards are documented in the provided information.
As Director of CLEAR, he oversees a research team developing analytical frameworks for multi-device data integration to enhance human performance monitoring and injury prevention in high-stakes operational environments.
