Christopher Bardt

Christopher Bardt is a Professor of Architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), with over 25 years of experience as an architect and educator. He is a founding principal of 3six0 Architecture, recognized by Architectural Record as a leading global firm. His research explores materials' role in creativity, spatial theory, and sunlight geometry, with published works and exhibitions. He has held visiting professorships at institutions in the US, Slovakia, and China.

Education: AA (John Abbott College), BARC (RISD), BFA (RISD), MARC (Harvard University). He teaches advanced studios, architectural history, and projective geometry courses, and developed RISD's integrated digital-physical drawing curriculum. His current book project examines 'umwelt' (self and place) entanglement.
