Christopher Albright, O.D., is an Assistant Professor at the Michigan College of Optometry, Ferris State University, where he specializes in clinical instruction and anterior/posterior segment optometry. He holds a Doctorate of Optometry from Salus University and completed a Cornea and Contact Lens Residency at MCO.
- Education: O.D. from Salus University, B.S. in Chemistry and Mathematics from Saint Francis University
- Clinical Expertise: Dry Eye Disease, Scleral Lenses, Ocular Pharmacology, and Post-LASIK Visual Rehabilitation
His research focuses on contact lens design, dry eye therapies, and anterior segment pathologies, with recent lectures on intense pulsed light therapy and omega-3 fatty acids in optometric practice. Dr. Albright is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. He mentors students in primary care clinics and teaches courses in Clinical Problem Solving and Ocular Pharmacology.
