Amy Dinardo

Amy Dinardo, OD, is a Professor at the Michigan College of Optometry (Ferris State University), where she has served as a clinical attending, classroom, and laboratory instructor for over 10 years. She completed her residency in corneal and contact lens specialties and holds an MBA in management tools and concepts.

Dr. Dinardo's research focuses on specialty contact lens fitting, anterior segment disease diagnostics, and dry eye treatment innovations. She has pioneered clinical protocols for scleral lens applications in irregular corneas and contributed to advancements in soft multifocal lens optics.

Her scholarly output (2015-2021) demonstrates consistent engagement with contact lens technology, dry eye disease management, and optometric education through presentations at the Global Specialty Contact Lens Symposium, the American Academy of Optometry meetings, and editorial leadership as Editor-In-Chief of the Journal of Dry Eye Disease.
