Christophe Gagne is a Professor of French Language and Translation at the University of Cambridge, with a focus on language use, contrastive pragmatics, translation, politeness theory, and discourse analysis. He is affiliated with the Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages and Linguistics and serves as a Fellow and College Lecturer at Churchill College.
