Christophe Coudercy is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Chemistry, University of Oslo, focusing on catalytic reaction mechanisms and multi-functional systems through operando/in-situ spectroscopic analysis. His current work targets Methanol To Olefins (MTO) and Methanol To Hydrocarbons (MTH) processes using oxide-zeotype mixtures.
Education:
- PhD in Chemistry (2022), IRCELYON (Institute for Research on Catalysis and Environment), Lyon, France
Research Focus: Specializes in bifunctional catalysts for syngas conversion to light olefins, particularly examining the role of intimacy (distance and contact density) in systems like MnO-SAPO-34. Previously collaborated with industry partners at the University of Waterloo, where he established foundational research and assembled a dedicated test bench for catalytic studies.
Awards:
- IACS 2024 Young Researcher Award support for attending ICC2024
