Christophe CAPERAA

Christophe CAPERAA is an Associate Professor and responsible for the Master's program in Engineering Design and Packaging Engineering at the Faculty of Chemistry (UFR de Chimie), Université Clermont Auvergne (UCA). He holds a Doctorate in Physico-Chemistry of Materials from Université Blaise Pascal (1992) and has been affiliated with the university since 1992. His research focuses on plasma processes (e.g., RF sputtering, reactive plasmas, microwave plasmas) and their applications in photocatalysis. He is part of the Matériaux Inorganiques (Inorganic Materials) team and the Materials, Processes Plasmas (MATEPP) thematic group.

Teaching responsibilities include inorganic chemistry, metallic materials, corrosion, packaging materials, and analytical techniques. He has held roles such as Chargé de Recherche (1988–1991), Moniteur (1989–1991), and Attaché Temporaire d'Enseignement et de Recherche (1991–1992). In 1992, he was invited to the Royal College of Science and Engineering (Hull University, UK) under Prof. Allan Matthews.
