Christoph Straube

Christoph Straube is a lecturer at the LEONARDO – Center for Creativity and Innovation at the Academy of Fine Arts Nuremberg. He has maintained an independent studio in Nuremberg since 2006 and engaged in teaching and consulting activities in Germany and abroad from 2008–2013. His practice is rooted in applied arts, with works featured in public collections such as the Grassi Museum of Applied Arts (Leipzig), MAK Vienna, and Die Neue Sammlung Munich.

His professional journey includes studies at the AdBK Nuremberg from 2000–2006 in the class for gold and silversmiths. Straube’s artistic presence extends to notable exhibitions like SOFA Chicago (2016–2019), Collect (Saatchi Gallery, London), and multiple participations in the Grassimesse at Leipzig’s Grassi Museum. His work is associated with contemporary jewelry and object design traditions.
