Christoph Scheepers is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Psychology & Neuroscience at the University of Glasgow. He holds a PhD from the University of Freiburg and has held academic positions at institutions including the University of Saarbruecken and the University of Dundee before joining Glasgow in 2005. His research focuses on psycholinguistics and the psychology of language, particularly mental representations, eye-tracking methodologies, and situated language use. He has supervised numerous postgraduate students and collaborated on grants from organizations like the Templeton Religion Trust and the Economic and Social Research Council. His work explores topics such as syntactic priming, visual attention, and the interface between language and vision.
