Christoph Knoblauch

Prof. Dr. Christoph Knoblauch is the Head of the Department of Catholic Theology/Religious Education and a Member of Faculty I Educational and Social Sciences at the University of Applied Sciences Ludwigsburg. He also serves as Deputy at the Institute of Theology. His research focuses on religious and ideological diversity in educational settings, particularly in daycare environments, emphasizing how such diversity shapes children’s inter-religious competence and value orientations.

Currently leading the project "Religious and ideological diversity in daycare teams" (2023–2026), Knoblauch collaborates with institutions like the University of Tübingen and the Diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart. The project explores how educators can constructively address religious diversity to foster inclusive education. His work bridges theological, pedagogical, and sociological perspectives to promote equitable educational practices.
