Christofer Rydenfält is a Senior Lecturer at Lund University’s Department of Design Sciences (Faculty of Engineering, LTH). His research focuses on ergonomics/human factors with dual emphases: organizational aspects of teamwork and physical work environments, particularly in healthcare and software development contexts. He actively explores how organizational structures and digital tools influence work processes and team dynamics, employing both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.

Research interests include healthcare workflow optimization, digitalization impacts on work environments, and collaborative practices in software development. His work addresses sustainable development goals related to quality healthcare (SDG3) and industry innovation (SDG9). Recent studies analyze AI’s role in code review practices and communication patterns among home care nurses.
He has supervised 2 documented research projects and contributed to 17 active or concluded projects, including leadership roles in improving managerial work environments in elderly care and digital workplace requirements. Teaching responsibilities include courses on interaction design and organizational management.
Collaborations span multidisciplinary teams across healthcare organizations and tech industries. He participates in national/international conferences and contributes to initiatives like the 'Sustainable Digital Work Environments' seminar series.
