Prof. Dr. Christine Wimbauer is a leading scholar in the Sociology of Work and Gender Relations at the Institute of Social Sciences, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, since 2015. Her research focuses on gender inequality, precarious labor, family dynamics, and recognition theory. She served as a spokesperson for the Center for Transdisciplinary Gender Studies (ZtG) from 2017–2023 and has held professorial positions at universities including Tübingen and Duisburg-Essen.
