Christine Wightman

Dr. Christine Wightman serves as Senior Lecturer and Associate Head of the Department of Accounting, Finance and Economics within Ulster University Business School, bringing over 30 years of academic experience. She additionally holds the strategic position of Partnership Manager for Ulster's programs at China's Dongbei University of Finance & Economics (DUFE).

Her educational foundation includes a BSc Hons in Geography from Queen's University (1989), an MBA from Ulster University (1990), a Postgraduate Certificate in University Teaching (1997), and a Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma (1994). Most recently, she earned a Doctor of Education focusing on resilience development in higher education students.

Wightman's research trajectory evolved from technology-enhanced assessment methodologies to digital learning environments and Communities of Practice, with current emphasis on graduate employability, resilience cultivation, and student outcomes.
