Claire McCann

Claire McCann serves as Senior Lecturer in Finance within the Department of Accounting, Finance and Economics at Ulster University Business School. Her office is located at Room BC-08-212, Ulster University Sports Village, Shore Road, Newtownabbey.

Research Focus: Dr. McCann's scholarly work centers on financial mathematics applications, statistical modeling in finance, and innovative approaches to finance education. Her research particularly examines how work placements impact student performance and employability outcomes in finance education. She has developed student-centered interventions to enhance induction and transition experiences for Accounting, Finance and Economics students.
