Christine Soo

Christine Soo is an Associate Professor in Management and Organisations at the University of Western Australia's Business School. She holds a BCom from WA and a PhD in Strategic Management from UNSW. Her research focuses on organizational learning, knowledge management, strategic HRM, and innovation dynamics in SMEs and nonprofit sectors. Christine has advised over 15 industries including resources, legal, and disability services.

Her academic roles include Honours Coordinator and past Editorial Board membership at Organization Studies. She has secured over $1M in grants including ARC Linkage Projects for volunteer retention strategies and disability sector leadership. Christine teaches Strategic Management, Organisational Learning, and Entrepreneurship at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Her executive training includes courses for Alcoa World Alumina on global virtual teams.

Current research projects include developing family leadership in disability services and knowledge-sharing mechanisms in volunteer organizations. She collaborates with industry partners like Microboards Australia and Scouts Australia. Her work addresses UN SDGs related to quality education and sustainable communities through organizational knowledge frameworks.
