Christine Miller, DO is an Instructor in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Yale School of Medicine. She holds dual appointments as a Clinical Fellow in Pediatric Infectious Diseases and an Instructor. Her research focuses on post-acute infection syndromes (PAIS), particularly in pediatric populations, with emphasis on identifying biomarkers for accurate diagnosis and targeted therapy.
Education includes a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Touro College (2018), pediatric residency at University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School (2021), and an infectious disease fellowship at Yale School of Medicine (2024). Board certified in General Pediatrics (2021).
Research interests span SARS-CoV-2 pathogenesis, Epstein-Barr virus infections, and vaccine-related reactivation phenomena. She has contributed to consensus guidelines for pediatric COVID-19 management and pioneered clinical phenotyping using real-world data for post-acute sequelae analysis.
Key publications include seminal work on pediatric post-COVID-19 sequelae, risk factors for severe pediatric infections, and case studies on vaccine-associated complications. Her work bridges clinical practice and translational research, with ongoing studies into immune mechanisms underlying chronic post-infectious conditions.
Laboratory affiliations include collaborations with the Stephen & Denise Adams Center for Parkinson’s Disease Research and the Y-Weight initiative. Future research directions aim to develop diagnostic tools for early PAIS detection and immunomodulatory therapies for persistent post-infectious symptoms.
