Christine Mayor

Christine Mayor is Assistant Professor at University of Manitoba's Faculty of Social Work. Her community-engaged research addresses anti-Black racism, educational equity, and trauma-informed practices using arts-based methods.

Current projects examine whiteness in school social work, community safety alternatives to policing, and decolonial approaches in education. Teaches trauma-focused practice using critical pedagogies.

Awards include Governor General's Academic Gold Medal and North American Drama Therapy Research Award. Founded Creative Community Change Research initiative.
