Christine Lewis is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Education at Edge Hill University, specializing in narrative and autoethnographic research. She leads the MA Education program and coordinates the Narrative Research Network. Her work explores kinship in adoptive families and human-animal relationships, contributing to social justice and equality. She holds a PhD from Lancaster University (2018).

- PhD in An Auto-ethnographic account of interactional practices in adoptive family relationships, Lancaster University (2014-2018)
Research Interests: Autoethnography, narrative methodologies, adoption kinship dynamics, human-animal studies, identity formation. She is affiliated with the Center for Human Animal Studies (CHAS) and the Narrative Research Network.
Activities: Active in academic conferences, including presentations on Ethel Snowden's narratives and auto/biographical studies. Supervised one postgraduate research project.
