Christine Koh serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Natural Sciences and Mathematics within the School of Health and Natural Sciences at Dominican University of California, holding a PhD in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley and a BS in Chemistry from Ewha Womans University, Korea.
Her research program focuses on aerosol dynamics impacting environmental and human health, utilizing advanced spectroscopic methods and aerosol techniques to investigate organic matter aerosols and bioaerosols originating from living organisms. Key research areas include real-time monitoring of aerosol chemical composition, size distribution, and hygroscopicity changes under varying environmental conditions.
Dr. Koh's work provides critical insights into aerosol evolution mechanisms and their consequences for local air quality assessment and management, bridging environmental chemistry with public health applications through experimental innovation.
