Christine Fish Moulton is a Professor of Flute at the Mansfield Campus of Commonwealth University, specializing in performance and pedagogy. She holds a DMA in Performance (Rutgers University), MM in Performance (Manhattan School of Music), BM in Performance (Boston Conservatory), and AS in Music (Onondaga Community College).
- Member of the Manhattan Contemporary Chamber Ensemble, Pennsylvania Sinfonia Orchestra, St. Paul’s Chamber Orchestra, and Finger Lakes Chamber Music Festival.
- Former member of the Allentown Symphony and current Secretary of the Marcel Moyse Society.
- Licensed Body Mapping Educator (2021), certified Timani teacher, and expert in Marcel Moyse’s pedagogical methods, particularly his 24 Little Melodic Etudes.
- Teaches Body Mapping, Timani, breathing techniques, and rhythm restoration to musicians.
Her research focuses on integrating physical and technical fluency with musical expression, drawing from her doctoral work on Moyse’s etudes and collaborations with Burton Kaplan. She mentors students in performance ease, natural movement, and artistic self-kindness.
