Christine Ellison

Christine Ellison is a Research Associate at Ulster University's UNESCO Centre, where she supports the UNESCO Chair's program on 'Education, Conflict and International Development'. Her research examines education's role in peacebuilding and conducts political-economic analysis of education systems globally.

Education background:

Her fieldwork includes ethnographic research in Uganda analyzing youth democratization programs.

She leads research at the UNESCO Centre and previously held positions at Université de Montréal (researching immigrant education) and UNDP's International Poverty Centre.
