Professor Christine Chung is a faculty member at Albany Law School, where she joined in 2007 as director of the Securities Arbitration Clinic. She co-directs the Institute for Financial Market Regulation, a joint initiative with the University at Albany, and organizes conferences on financial market regulation.
Her research focuses on regulatory architecture and reform, risk management, compliance, and corporate governance, with a particular interest in feminist jurisprudence and taxpayer rights in municipal bankruptcy. Her 2015 article on taxpayer voices in municipal bankruptcy law reflects these interdisciplinary themes.

Professor Chung earned her J.D. from Harvard Law School and her B.A. from Amherst College, bringing a strong foundational background in law and liberal arts to her academic work.
