Christine Cheston, MD is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics in Hospital and Newborn Medicine at Boston University's Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, Program Director of the Boston Combined Residency Program (BCRP), and Medical Director of the Newborn Nursery at Boston Medical Center (BMC). She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia (BA with Highest Distinction) and her MD at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Her career has focused on advancing antiracism and equity in medical education, quality improvement (QI) initiatives, and improving care for patients with limited English proficiency.
