Her research focuses on signaling pathways in cancer, including the identification of new therapeutic targets for rational drug design and the role of protein tyrosine phosphatases like SHP-2 in cellular processes. Her work has explored SHP-2's regulation of mTOR/S6 kinase pathways, NFAT signaling in Noonan syndrome, and its involvement in apoptosis suppression and myogenesis.
Recent publications highlight her contributions to cancer signaling mechanisms, including studies on melanoma, breast cancer, and ovarian cancer. She has also been involved in implementing innovative teaching tools like Labster virtual lab simulations during the coronavirus pandemic to support remote learning.
