Christina Yuan

Christina Yuan is an Associate Research Professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She is also a Principal Faculty member at the Johns Hopkins Armstrong Institute for Patient Safety and Quality and Associate Director of the NIMH P50 Johns Hopkins ALACRITY Center for Health and Longevity in Mental Illness.

Her research focuses on the dissemination and implementation of evidence-based practices in health care, particularly in surgical care, mental health, and health equity. She employs mixed methods, including qualitative research, social network analysis, and health services research, to understand organizational and behavioral factors influencing care delivery and quality improvement.

Dr. Yuan actively collaborates with community partners, clinicians, and policymakers to ensure research relevance and scalability. She teaches courses in implementation research and mentors students and junior researchers.
