Christina Weng, MD, MBA, is a Professor and Alice R. McPherson Retina Research Foundation Chair in Ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine, and a Staff Physician/Professor at Ben Taub General Hospital. Her expertise spans vitreoretinal diseases, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal detachment surgery. She focuses on improving clinical and surgical outcomes through population-level analysis and patient-centered care.
Education includes an MD from the University of Michigan Medical School, an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, and residencies/fellowships at Johns Hopkins and Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. She is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and holds membership in major ophthalmology societies.
