Christina Hersom serves as an External Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Psychology at Aarhus University's Danish School of Education (DPU), Emdrup campus, while concurrently pursuing PhD studies in General Education and Educational Philosophy. Her research focuses on psychological resilience and well-being in high-stress professional contexts, particularly among military personnel and veterans.

Research Focus: Hersom's work bridges Positive Psychology and Organizational Psychology to develop evidence-based resilience interventions for extreme environments. Her current investigations examine leadership performance under duress, veteran reintegration challenges, and educational pathways for military populations, emphasizing practical applications of psychological theory.
Publication Trends: Her 2025 study protocol for resilience training in Frontiers in Psychology demonstrates methodological rigor in organizational psychology research, highlighting military applications and randomized trial designs to address leadership sustainability in crisis scenarios.
