Christina Frances Tolbert

Christina Frances Tolbert, MD, serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) College of Medicine.

Dr. Tolbert specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry with concentrated expertise in trauma exposure, PTSD, and addressing economic and racial diversity in youth populations. Her clinical work spans the MUSC telepsychiatry program for adult and child patients alongside specialized treatment for severe behavioral disturbances at the Children's Day Treatment Program in North Charleston. During her fellowship (2016-2018), she gained significant experience at the National Crime Victims Research & Treatment Center.
