Christina Fitzgerald (Ph.D., UCLA) is a Professor and Associate Chair in the Department of English Language and Literature at the University of Toledo's College of Arts and Letters. She specializes in medieval English literature and drama, with a focus on gender, manuscript culture, and pedagogy.

Her research spans medieval drama, historical linguistics, manuscript studies, and the intersection of conduct literature with identity formation. She also explores challenges in balancing professional and personal life within the humanities.
Dr. Fitzgerald's recent publications analyze masculinity in Middle English poetry, performance anxiety in medieval plays, and the editorial practices in medieval drama. She is currently working on projects related to late medieval London merchants and manuscript culture, as well as a medieval drama guide.
She serves as faculty adviser to the Beta Rho Chapter of Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society and engages in pedagogical outreach through public library workshops.
