Christina Corso is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Speech Language Pathology at Saint Mary's College (Notre Dame, IN). She leads the SMART Lab, focusing on enhancing independence for adolescents and young adults with severe disabilities through Smart Home Technology and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems.

Her research explores AAC interface design, Smart Home Technology applications, and interprofessional education in assistive technology. She has developed an interprofessional course in the SPARK Lab (makerspace) on campus.
Corso has published research on the intersection of music therapy and communication disorders (2020), alongside reflective works analyzing pandemic-induced challenges in academic journeys (2020) and re-entry into higher education after clinical practice (2018). These publications highlight her interdisciplinary approach to technology-enabled rehabilitation.
She is involved in the SMART Lab @ SMC, a research space dedicated to adaptive rehab technology and smart home innovation. Her clinical background as a Speech Language Pathologist (2008–2022) informs her academic and research endeavors.
