Christie J Bruno, DO is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics (Neonatology) and Program Director of the Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship Program at Yale School of Medicine. She specializes in neonatal intensive care, neurodevelopmental follow-up through the NICU GRAD program, and medical education innovation. Dr. Bruno completed her pediatric residency at Thomas Jefferson University/duPont Hospital for Children and neonatal-perinatal fellowship at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
Her research focuses on improving neonatal resuscitation practices, simulation-based training for healthcare providers, and procedural competency assessment. Key areas include telemedicine applications for remote neonatal care and strategies to enhance resident training in procedural skills. She leads initiatives in neonatal transport protocols and interdisciplinary education programs.
Dr. Bruno has been recognized with the Yale Pediatric Faculty Honor Roll for Teaching Excellence (2020) and featured in Connecticut Magazine's 'Top Doctors' list (2024).
