Christiane Nüsslein-Volhard is a renowned developmental biologist and Nobel laureate, affiliated with the Max Planck Institute for Developmental Biology in Tübingen, Germany. She served as Director of the Friedrich-Miescher-Laboratory (2005–2012) and held leadership roles in the Max Planck Institute since 1985. Her research focuses on molecular genetics and embryonic development in model organisms like Drosophila and zebrafish.
