Christiane Hommelsheim is a lecturer at Berlin Career College of Berlin University of the Arts, specializing in Sound Studies and Sonic Arts. An internationally active artist and certified Roy Hart voice teacher since 2009, she focuses on the performative use of the human voice through workshops, coaching, and artistic collaborations across Europe and Australia.

Her research centers on vocal expression as perceptual practice, exploring how voice functions in performance contexts. Since 2007, she has investigated perception as an embodied act following Deborah Hay's SPCP 'The Runner' project. Her work integrates interdisciplinary approaches through collaborations with composers and visual artists, examining the boundaries between vocal production and sonic materiality.
