Christian Vögtlin

Christian Vögtlin is a Professor at the ZHAW School of Management and Law, serving as Co-Head of the Zurich Center for Sustainability Leadership. He holds academic positions at Audencia Business School (Professor) and previously held roles including Senior Researcher at the University of Zurich and Visiting Scholar at ESADE Business School. His research focuses on sustainability leadership, corporate social responsibility (CSR), responsible innovation, and ethical governance. He earned a Habilitation (2017) and PhD (2011) in Business Administration from the University of Zurich.

His teaching spans Corporate Responsibility across bachelor, master, and executive programs, with expertise in ESG frameworks and circular economy strategies. Vögtlin leads projects like 'Green Transformative Leadership' and contributes to initiatives addressing sustainable innovation governance. His work bridges philosophy and business ethics, advocating for deliberative capacities in organizational decision-making and the role of 'Chief Philosophy Officers' in corporate strategy.
