Christian Tietje

Christian Tietje is a Professor at the Faculty of Law, Economics and Business at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, holding the Jean Monnet Chair for EU Value-Oriented Neighbourhood and Trade Policy. His work focuses on the legal, economic, and political dimensions of European integration, with a regional emphasis on the Caucasus, Central Asia, and Ethiopia. He leads the Chair of Public Law, European Law, and International Business Law, engaging in innovative teaching, transnational research, and public outreach initiatives.
