Prof. Christian Rohr is a Full Professor of Environmental and Climate History at the University of Bern's Department of Economic, Social and Environmental History, part of the Institute of History. His research focuses on natural disaster management, climate history, resource conflicts, and the reception of the Middle Ages in popular culture. He has authored and edited influential works such as The Commons in a Glocal World (2019) and Historical Auxiliary Sciences (2015).
